Final Year Project - Eier

Note: Eier was created for the mobile - only Android.

Eier (pronounce as aye-yer) is my team's Final Year Project.
It is about Eier who enrols into Magic Academy - aspiring to be like his late parents. He befriends with another fellow student, Viktor. The two of them formed a strong bond even though Viktor was transferred to an Elite Class. The story follows Eier's discovery about the truth of the Elite Class when he notices Viktor was turning into someone he no longer knew.

Eier is created by Team Psycho Nyansters which consisted on 2 people (including myself). I handled the Design aspects of the game while my programmer, Leow Kean Tat, handled all the Programming aspects.

In case you're wondering what kind of Design aspect that I handled - here are my roles and responsibilities for this game project:-
1. Narrative & Scripts
2. Character and World Creation
3. Content Creation (Game Features)
4. Level Design
5. UI & UX Design
6. Creating Gameplay Mechanics
7. QA Testing
8. Game Balancing

Eier is made for the mobile (Android). However, there are gameplay videos of Eier - it has been split into 3 parts based on the Stage. Do pause the video if you can't catch what was written on it. I didn't explore all of the possible routes in order to cut short the gameplay.

Please don't mind the bugs in the game - they are not game breaking. A little bit annoying and difficult to fix but still a playable game! There is no BGM in this gameplay video - only some SFX. :')

Most of the art assets were taken from online resources as we lack of time to do the art!

Digital Drawing - 2D Modular Building (Part 1)

Note: Art was my elective subject.

Back in (around) August 2015, we were assigned to create 2 modular buildings (2D) of our choice - the interior and exterior. Personally, I chose to create a Ramen Shop and a Coffee House.

In this Part 1 section, I'll be showing where I got my inspiration for the 2 buildings that I wanted to create.

Mini Game Project - Not-A-Sailormoon Game

Not-A-Sailomoon Game is a 10-week mini game project for a class assignment. This game was created with the help of a lecturer and Leow Kean Tat. We would have to reiterate a better version of the game every week and ensure it was playable. We were required to create a Beat 'em Up game for the first 5 weeks and then incorporate RPG elements into the game for the remaining 5 weeks.

The game was inspired by Sailor Moon's SNES game (gameplay video).
(About Sailor Moon)

The game can be played on itch.io.
