Game Project 1 - Deathtrapalooza

Deathtrapalooza is the first game project that was made in KDU University College. Our team name is known as "Team Alliance" which consisted of 7 members (including myself). This project ran from September 2014 - December 2014.

It is a rage-inducing puzzle adventure game where a poor adventurer comes across a job opportunity where he is required to collect ancient Mayan artifact from an underground where it's filled with traps and other torture devices.

Deathtrapalooza can be found in GameJolt (link).

Mini Game Project - Magical Girl Chayuhime

Magical Girl Chayuhime is a 5-week mini game project for a class assignment. This game was created with the help of a lecturer and Leow Kean Tat. Every week, there was a reiteration process to improve the game and ensure it was always playable. The assignment requirement was to create a Platform game on Stencyl.

Magical Girl Chayuhime was stemmed from the idea of a heroine ("magical girl") saving her kingdom from crumbling.

The game can be played on itch.io.

Mini Game Project - Polygonal Rage

Polygonal Rage is a 5-week mini game project for a class assignment. This game was created with the help of our lecturer and Leow Kean Tat. Every week, we would have to reiterate our game into a better version and yet, it has to be playable. We were required to create a Shoot 'Em Up game in Stencyl. This was my very first time using Stencyl to create a game!

The idea of the game was stemmed from someone named, James Rondo, going on rampage after being bullied. Thus, James Rondo would take down his bullies!

The game has been uploaded on itch.io.

Game Flow Chart - Monster's Den

During a class (back in June 2014), we were required to come up with the game flow chart for a Kongregate game called Monster's Den (link). Monster's Den is 2D dungeon crawler RPG game.

To be honest, I wasn't fond of the game because of how repetitive it was and the pacing was difficult to keep up with.

However, here is a look at the game flow chart that I have done:-
